StampTACular Tuesday

Today's card is a matchbook card. It flips open from the tab. You can't see it here in the picture, but the tab is closed by 2 eyelets at the bottom under the ribbon. You can kinda see it peeking through the bottom part of the bow... see it? Of course you know that the paper is cha cha by the angel company and the little girl is from Mabelle's Favorites and the sentiment is from the set You Are . I have decided my grass making skills are in desperate need of attention. Guess I need to practice that, cuz it's buggin me. I digress anyhoo go check out my fabulous angel who does this to me , I mean with me every week, the lovely and talented Bridgett.
( I so feel like Vanna White!)

StampTACular Tuesday ~What's cooking good lookin'?

Another fun Tuesday project with Bridgett and I, so let's get started.
I never know what's for diner in this house till the last minute. Don't get me wrong I have menus planned out I just never follow what I am gonna make on any given day. I am sure you asking what does that have to do with TAC and stamping right? Well let me show you....
This is my cute little recipe card holder for your kitchen so your cards aren't laying on your counter! Just to show you the size I inserted a 4 x 51/2 inch card into the holder so you can get the general idea of the size!
I wanted to add ribbon to the clips but thought they might get in the way when trying to read a recipe card. This was made using TACs cha cha designer paper and the happiness is from the TAC set abundance is.

StampTACular Tuesday.

I love trying to make new things and this was right up my alley. This weeks project is a nifty tea bag/ chocolate square holder. It was really easy and I think super cute. The front of my card is done with a retired GWP stamp, the flowers , and Trendy Greetings.On the inside I used the cha cha TAC paper pack and some Lil' Davis designs Silk flowers. Sorry I don't have any designer tea lying around the house to show you in there , but you get th eidea with my regular old tea bags. Right? That'll teach me and Bridgett to wait till the last min to come up with an idea. Speaking of Bridgett you know what to do head on over there and see how she made her holder. You know you wanna..{wink , wink}
Today was such a cool day. 75 tops, breezy, rainy..you know perfect weather...perfect for sitting and creating right? Ya if I had adhesive to create and when we ran out to Walmart..closed due to a power outage. UGHH! I think the world is telling me there is nothing wrong with chillin with my kids watching movies.

StampTAcular Tuesdays

For this weeks Challenge Bridgett said ok let's use our stamps as a background on a scrap page. OK I can manage that I think to myself. That was until I tried it. I can never get my backgrounds to look like cool designer paper no matter how I try so , I came up with something else. Tell me can you see it in the page? Can you? Yup here it is all hidden like behind my journaling. Isn't that cute? I think it added a little something while tying in the title and I am all about that! I can't look at this page without just wanting to give my MIMAW a BIG OL hug! She's so cute!
Now all I ask is that you run right over to Bridgett's blog and see what she came up with. She manages pretty well to make her own dp. Just check out last thursdays blog on her preparing for a class demo.

I have colored the leaves green the butterflies pink the sky blue. HMMMMM I think I need a hammock and a nap! On The Hammock Head on over to Bridgett's blog and see what she cooked up!

stampTACular Tuesday week 8

Here is the complete butterfly swirls set Bridgett and I have used for the month, They are sold through The Angel Co at 19.95 plus S&H . So if you are interested please contact Bridgett at Hoosier Card Angel Creations and she can hook you up! Now all I had left to play with in the set were the swirls, So as I wondered what to do with them it hit me why not get 2 challenges done at once? My fellow SBS sister Kerry is doing a Thurs, sketch challenge at Three Clovers Designs so I used her sketch.....
rotated it and decided to use a stamp I rarely if ever use. Disney fairies. I think the swirls from butterfly swirls looks great here. and of course the picture doesn't pick up the tons o dazzling diamonds I have on it.

stampTACular Tuesday week 7

Another card from the lovely butterfly swirls set from TAC. I went simple with black and white and I cut out the butterfly and added pop dots to the bottom of it to make it look like it is taking flight. The swirls under the butterfly are from autmun leaves. I added dazzling diamonds to the small swirls and some swirls through out the wings and added some gems to the antenne, 2 swirls and on the corner. One more week with this lovely stamp set and Feb is almost gone. Can you believe that? Be sure to head to Bridgett's blog and see what she made. Its a great tutorial!

stampTACular Tuesday week 6

So here is my project for this week. I have had this box for awhile now and had no idea what to do with it. For some reason I thought the butterfly from butterfly swirls would be perfect! The box is painted in Berry Red acrylic paint by Delta and Making Memories capri and specialty glaze -glitter to add some sparkle. The friendship stamp is from SU wonderful words. I am not quite sure where this box is going to find a home, any volunteers?
