Veteran's Day

I am a military brat. My dad served in the US Air Force for 20 years. 3 of 6 uncles have served ,several cousins, my brother and I did the inevitable and married me a military man. It seems to be the only life I know. The men and women in our military have done a lot to protect not only our freedoms, but the freedoms of others. I think they deserve our thanks! You can read all about the history of Veteran's day here. I have said it before you may not agree with the wars , but support the troops, they are ordered to be where they are needed and many do not want to be seperated from their families. So many thanks to you people in uniform! I made this for you!

I also want to thank the spouse's of these people. They are veteran's also for keeping the fort down when the loved one is deployed. I am proud to serve among you guys as a member of the silent ranks! That being said Jeanne this card is going to you so be watching your mail box! I am going to leave it blank and you can use it when the occasion is right.

Oh.My.Gosh.

I'm speechless!

As soon as I saw that card, I was like OH WOW!! How lovely and touching! How amazing is this woman that can make cool stuff like that?!?!?

And you're giving to me???? Thank you so much!

Yes, our country does need to stop and appreciate the troops - today and everyday. And it's sort of nice to be recognized too. Being without your husband for 12+ months at a time, worrying about "the call", is really rough. My husband says I get to share his medals because he wouldn't have them without me. Yeah, he's just awesome like that!

God bless our troops!!!
