Scripture challenge week 18 -fruit

No I am not talking about the fruit we eat, but the fruit of the spirit. I define that as the product we "produce" when we tend to our faith. Much like a garden our faith starts with a seed. If the conditions are right that seed begins to flourish. When we flourish we produce God's fruit. It is sweet and it nourishes us and everyone we share it with. But like that seed we need certain things to help it grow. Not water, minerals, and sun, but rather prayer, bible study and sharing the gospel. Even the trials life throws at us can be considered needed for our fruit, after all we all have weeds to deal with right? We just have to remove them to make our garden stronger.
As always make sure you check out Bridgett's and Amber's blogs for their take.

Terrific page! I used a couple of the same verses as you...I love how we do that sometimes! You are so right...it takes a lot of work to produce good fruit and to keep producing it and we must always stay grafted in to the True Vine or we will not be able to keep it up! Thank you for such an encouraging page today!
Hugs,
Bridgett
